So that after
the trip you have a good selection of photos, I would recommend taking into
account the following several points:
Before starting
the hike, back in the city, make a re-inventory of all the photographic
equipment that you are going to take with you and select those cameras that
will provide good quality and resolution of the pictures. Do not waste energy
on the production of photographs with poor quality. In a hike, all shots are
potentially good and will be very disappointing when some of them will fail due
to the camera. Therefore, "soap boxes" are not welcome.
Very often the
most beautiful places the group passes without stopping. To have time to take a
good shot, the camera should always be ready and always at hand, but it does
not interfere with traffic on difficult sections of the route.
Even the most
agile photographer needs time to take a good shot. And him, behind the group
during the movement, can easily be lost. This should be remembered and often
look back, in time to warn the facilitator about the lag of one of the
participants.
As practice has
shown, natural, unexpected photographs are very successful in a hike; they are
made when nobody specially poses in the frame.
When you are
surrounded by an amazing nature, do not forget to do just a landscape shot. Of
course, you want and need to leave a memory on the photo, that it was you and
no one else who was in this place. In this case, think about those to whom you
will show your photo album. Let people just admire the beautiful...
During the
growing popularity of digital photography, there is nothing difficult in
recording on one disc pictures from cameras that were in the group, and
multiply it for all participants. To do this, it is enough to choose the person
responsible for this event (preferably a volunteer), and give him all the flash
drives. The end result is a question of his visit to one of the digital photo
salons and a few hours of time necessary for recording the discs.
To make things
go more smoothly, purchase the discs in advance, because in the place where you
can burn discs, there may not be discs themselves, or they will be, but
expensive.
It should be
noted that recording on DVDs is faster than on CDs, but not all participants
can be able to watch DVD, although this issue is in any case solvable.
If we are
talking about film cameras, then the following method has proved itself well. A
group of ten people take 2-3 cameras, and each of the participants takes 1-2
films (100-200 units). As a result, after all, you will have about two dozen
films shot by three different people and equipment. Further, it is advisable to
display them centrally and immediately to print the controls (test shots - one
film per sheet A4). After viewing the control pictures by the participants,
everyone, without difficulty, will be able to determine their order.
